Parotidectomy (Parotid Excision)

The Parotid glands are the largest saliva glands.  They are located on both sides of the face, extending from the mid-cheek back to the the front of the ear canals from front-to-back, and from the cheek bone down to below the jawline from top-to-bottom. They produce the clear watery saliva that helps digest starches.
